(Late) Sushant Singh Rajput: net worth ₹59 Crore in just 7 years of film carEer

Sushant Singh Rajput- youngest to four sisters, was born in Patna, Bihar on 21st January 1986. His father KK Singh is a retired government officer and stays at Patna residence at Rajendra Nagar. He lost his mother early in life in 2002 and his sister Mitu Singh is a state-level cricketer.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide left everyone shocked and heartbroken. The 34-year-old actor was reportedly suffering from depression and police found some anti-depressants pill in his room. The actor was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his Bandra residential apartment, Mount Blac.

Education and Achievements:

  3. In 2005, he was chosen to be one of the groups of background dancers at the 51st Filmfare Awards.

  8. Rajput made his film debut in 2013, with a small-budget film ‘Kai Poche’ that was acclaimed by critics and audiences worldwide.
  9. The actor’s net worth was around ₹59 crore. He reportedly used to charge between ₹5-7 crore for a movie.
  10. He was charging around ₹1 crore for brand endorsements.

Passion and Hobbies:

  1. Sushant had a great passion for astronomy, owned a telescope as well. In 2018, he had bought an expensive, Boeing 737 Fixed Base Flight Simulator too.
  2. Sushant’s collection included the Maserati Quattroporte car (cost ₹1.5 crores) and the BMW K1300R bike, which costs around ₹ 25 lakh.
  3. He is the only Indian who had bought a piece of land on the moon. He had bought the property from the International Lunar Lands Registry.


  1. He was dating his TV co-star Ankita Lokhande. They were living together, but post a 6 years relationship they separated.
  2. Post break up with Ankita Lokhande, Sushant started dating his ‘Raabta‘ co-star Kriti Sanon. At around the same time, his M.S Dhoni biopic released & grossed 100+ crore at the box office.
  3. He was recently in the news for trying to get close to his newbie co-stars Sara Ali Khan & Sanjana Sanghi.

Sushant does seem to have a heart of gold. He has donated 1 crore to the CM relief fund for Kerala & 1.25 crore for flood victims of Nagaland. One of his movies, which is yet to release in 2020, is ‘Dil Bechara‘. We hope that this movie turns out to be another landmark in his acting career.
