An explorer at heart, Gunjan Bawa is a 23-year-old Punjabi girl who is always searching for exploring new things. Her love for food clearly reflects on her Instagram feed which is filled with pictures of delectable meals. She recently celebrated her 75k mark on Instagram with a huge white chocolate cake with 75k written on top with golden.

Gunjan says that she has been an explorer for a long time, and whatever she explorers, she shares it with her audience. She is well aware of the fact that an influencer is praised based on the content they put it; hence ‘content is a gem’ for her. She believes that content should be so strong that it throws a big impact on the audience. Her content purely depends on her liking; she puts anything she likes but tries to make it look attractive enough for her followers.

Being a Punjabi girl, Gunjan mentions that her love for food is in her roots. Since for a Punjabi, food is their main thing, her interest in food started from her childhood only. ‘There is a thing called passion and dream which everyone has in their own respective life’ says Gunjan adding that for her it was food that inspired her to start Foodyypreneur.

She states that every day for an influencer is a challenge. Of not knowing how their content will give results as it depends on what they are posting and how their audience will perceive it, Gunjan observes, makes it an everyday challenge for getting the desired reach on their post. Her success depends on whether she has been able to bring a smile on her audiences’ faces through her content.

‘Good content’ is her mantra when it comes to gaining followers and making her posts viral. Except that, she declares that there are no other techniques. The only way to achieve what you want is by working hard for it. “So, work hard for your content and be original” says Gunjan.
The love of her audience motivates her to keep going as it is her audiences’ smile she works hard for. She points out that every influencer has a different content, and this is what makes one different from another. It also shapes an influencer’s journey as both tough and beautiful. Before venturing to this profession, she wanted to become a government employee.

As per Gunjan, brands look for influencers who can do good promotions of their products or services. However, the keyword she mentions is how influencers portray a brand in front of their audiences. She tells us that a brand should be happy after paying them so the work should be done accordingly. Gunjan has worked with some well-known brands like Domino’s and McDonald’s, but she would like to work with the Bollywood industry. Doing Bollywood promotions is on her list, and she hopes to fulfil that list as well. However, she mentions that she is already grateful for what is coming her way every day.

For her, the only road to success in this industry is the content you create, and she suggests to upcoming influencers to make a content that soothes you as if you will love it then automatically people will love it too. “Trust yourself and love what you’re doing” adds Gunjan.
